Figure 3 shows that the T1 spectrum in comparison with T3 demonstrates narrower reflexes and better resolution.
Considering our data are not sensitive to discontinuities (no top reflections at a discontinuity are observed) and the results are averaged velocities above the CMB, we tested two models modified from PREM, in which it has either a gradual P-wave velocity decrease from 0 to 8% (low velocity model) or increase from 0 to 6% (high-velocity model) in a 60-km layer atop the CMB (Fig. 4a).
