Slack core works great for small teams, but as a company gets bigger your pane might rapidly fill up with tons of channels and private conversations, many of which might be just dumpsters for funny GIFs.
As long as they don't care that much about going online, the ability to get tons of channels, interactivity, an Internet connection of sorts and telephony all on the same bill could make satellites a very attractive option in the years to come.
