Pomegranate trees are moderately salt tolerant under field conditions (El-Khawaga et al. 2013).
In a detailed comparison of the differing responses of food legumes to waterlogging during vegetative growth, Solaiman et al. (2007) found faba bean (Vicia faba) as the most tolerant and field pea the least; with yellow lupin (Lupinus luteus), grasspea (Lathyrus sativus), narrow-leafed lupin, chickpea and lentil as intermediate (Solaiman et al. 2007).
