We won't know if this filters through to actual arrivals until the statistics some out, and Britain's exit from Europe is yet to enacted, but the chances are better than good.
The two groups showed a similar bias, which was stronger for observed items compared to enacted ones (observed: mean = .52; SD = .47; enacted: mean = .20; SD = .73).73
The last measure was a Source Memory task, in which participants viewed the 60-sentence list a second time and decided whether old items corresponded to enacted or observed items.

The findings highlight that anticipated stigma leading to low disclosure is widespread and sometimes reinforced by health providers' actions and facility layout (contributing to enacted stigma).
This corresponds with the significant literature on HIV stigma, which suggests that due to enacted stigma, HIV positive people isolate themselves (Campbell, Skovdal, Mupambireyi, & Gregson, 2010; Scambler & Paoli, 2008).
