In order to elucidate the mechanism for predicting timing of contact, we performed an investigation of the adaptation process for shifts in the timing of visual and tactile stimuli.
The timing of contact formation paralleled the detection of synaptic GABAergic currents (Fig. S1B and D).
Further research is needed to determine the effect of variations in timing of contact, and the relative effects of telephone versus in-home support when timing of contact is equivalent.
