Facebook is already trying to tackle the issue of long livestream replays seeming boring by showing an engagement graph timeline so viewers can skip to the most popular parts of the video.

The stack zones of overlapping annotation times will sharpen and brighten in a yellow nuance, notifying the viewer that this portion of the video timeline has a larger congregation of annotations and most likely contains interesting information.
VisArchive consists of the following visual and interactive components: search bar (Fig. 2(a)), information browser (Fig. 2 (b) and (c)), interactive Timelines (Fig. 2 (d)), advanced filters and access history viewer (discussed in section "Evaluation").
By far the largest and most impressive offering on the site, the timeline spans 70 interactive pages with 830 individual entries that take a viewer from 1833 to 1976.
Rather than having a timeline, which states this happens and then this happens, we put the viewer in a place and let them explore it by looking around.
Featuring Tony award-winning artist and performer Justin Vivian Bond, the song and video aim to give the viewer an insider's perspective of this important moment within the timeline of queer history.
