The northern/central Adriatic mucilage events time series dates back to 1729, and has been reconstructed from scientific papers and several records in old newspapers regarding episodes affecting the north and central Adriatic Sea (see Fonda Umani [21] and references therein).
Ranging across different spatial resolutions, the combination of these products will provide a time series dating 30+ years.
Data on forest harvest were given as an annual time series dating back to 1949 of the amount of timber volume officially harvested.
Time series dated from 1970 until 2003 or 2004, depending on availability.
However, as mentioned before, signal denoising (for FFT and WT) did not perform well for unevenly spaced time-series data (Fig. 4); no matter how the denoising parameters were set, such methods neither maintained an original shape nor preserved the original date in the time series.
To more fully model the continuous nature of forest regrowth following clearcut harvesting we extrapolated percent tree cover data collected by the U.S. Forest Service Pacific Northwest Forest Inventory and Analysis program to a cross-normalized Landsat time-series using a date-invariant regression modeling approach.
On the other hand, most time-series studies to date have not reported a significant effect modification by socioeconomic status (Samet et al. 2000; Schwartz 2000).
The National Morbidity, Mortality, and Air Pollution Study (NMMAPS) is the largest of the air pollution time-series studies to date (Samet et al. 2000a, 2000b).
Moreover, Swiss policy discussions about bequest taxation often imply assertions about the perceived level and trend in the importance of inheritance, but to date, no time-series evidence exists on the subject.
Despite the wealth of microarray time-series analysis procedures devised to date (such as [ 12, 13]), only simple linear regression methods are used in analyzing microarray data generated from most of the published ageing studies (for example, [ 3, 5, 7- 9]).
