Our results indicated that a relatively longer duration of diabetes increased the likelihood of poor prognosis and simultaneously suggested that the 'newly diagnosed' patients in Tianjin did not consist of all of the 'previously undiagnosed' patients, and that the screening in Tianjin cannot reveal all undiagnosed patients.
The idea does not go down well in Tianjin.
