The results show that an ultrafine microstructure of essentially equiaxed grains, separated by high angle grain boundaries, is achieved only when a very intense plastic strain is imposed on the sample in each passage through the die as when using a die having a channel angle of Φ close to 90°.
The results show that, under ECA pressing conditions giving a strain of ∼1.05 on each passage through the die, the microstructure is reasonably homogeneous after a single pressing and consists of parallel bands of elongated subgrains, having an average length of ∼4 μm, and these subgrains are further divided by boundaries with very low angles of misorientation.
The shortened fatty acyl coenzyme A molecule now undergoes the sequence of reactions again, beginning with the dehydrogenation step, and another two-carbon fragment is removed as acetyl coenzyme A. With each passage through the process of fatty acid oxidation, the fatty acid loses a two-carbon fragment as acetyl coenzyme A and two pairs of hydrogen atoms to specific acceptors.
Absorbance measurements for individual droplets were recorded for each passage through the detector.
Additionally, selected samples from each passage through passage 6 were immunostained using monoclonal antibodies against carcinoembryonal antigen (CEA), cytokeratin 7 (cytokeratineratin 20 (CK20) and Ki67 (Table 1) using the Dako EnVision™ + detection system according to manual (DAKO, Glostrup, Denmark).
To induce hypoxia-resistant AsPC-1 and SUIT-2 cells, these lines were cultured in hypoxic conditions; surviving cells were selected through each cell passage and were cultured under hypoxia for at least 3 months and up to 6 months because these cells we used are functionally stable between 3 and 6 months from initial culture (Fig. S1).
