However, the average length of time until both local host abundances were simultaneously driven below the threshold (regional extinction) was significantly longer with 50%, compared to 10%, parasitoid dispersal (log odds ratio (SE) = 1.21 (0.0549), t198 = 22.0, p<0.0001), due to asynchrony in local host populations, between habitat patches.
At this more lenient threshold, additional regional grey matter correlates were observed (Supplementary Fig. 2 and 3).
