Such were my thoughts as I read the thoroughgoing triumph by David Swartz, "Moral Minority: The Evangelical Left in an Age of Conservatism". Swartz examines a phase in which many evangelicals embraced the peace movement, preference for the oppressed, simple living and environmental stewardship.
