The number of individual students sitting each examination was included within the item analysis data; this varied with each sitting, ranging from 277 to 347 students, with a total of 60,850 student-question interactions.
There are two metrics used in the item analysis.
In the TRC-e-2, three items were removed as a result of the item analysis.
The backing for the score inference was based on adequate results from the item analysis.
From the item analysis, six items were shown to have poor item-total correlations below 0.2.
