Even so, there could be explanations for this data that aren't neatly determinist.
He adds that, more confounding still, "Today everything is data based, everything is searched, so the artist's job is to become an editor, to establish relationships to all this data that permits others to enter in".
"There is nothing in this data that says the economy is falling back," said Joel Naroff, chief economist at Naroff Economic Advisors.

In defense of venture capital, there are things that we do not know about this data that might change our views.

Brands need tools to make sense of all this data that Twitter doesn't yet supply.
