The direct observation of the sinus membrane showed that it is stretchable and can be easily elevated in eight cases where the membrane morphology was classified as thick (group B), whereas in the other four cases (group A), the membrane was thin and hardly accepted the lifting procedure (Tables 1 and 2).
The Thick group was found to be significantly more rigid (P<.05) than the other frameworks when torsional loads were applied to both the premolar (22.42 N/mm) and molar (10.88 N/mm) areas, and when a compressive load was applied to the premolar (232.85 N/mm) area.
There was a weaker relationship with thicker Breslow thickness groups.
The thicker melanoma group included equal numbers of NMs, SSMs and other rare and unclassified types, although no amelanotic lesions; the diversity of types in this group suggest that the differences identified between the thinner and thicker groups cannot simply be considered due to the biological differences between SSMs and NMs.
The fftt genotype combination was strongly associated with the thickest Breslow thickness group, group 4 (OR 24, CI 3 225, P=0.005).
Figure 1 shows that in the 4 mm and thicker group, there are significant increases in both sexes only in those aged 60 years and over.
In other words, differences between thin and thick MSAF groups are not significant (Bonferroni corrected p values: lactate 0.34, Creatinine 0.75, LC ratio 0.09) and also that between thick MSAF and control groups (Bonferroni corrected p values: lactate 0.90, creatinine: 0.26, LC ratio 0.14).
Compared with the values of the breakage angle derived by using traditional empirical and numerical methods, the laboratory test results are smaller, with a deviation of 3° 4° below the hard thick strata group, and 13° 19° above the hard-thick strata group.
