Jesus commands service to the hungry, the stranger, the unclothed, the sick, the imprisoned -- "the least of these my brethren".
In a passionate sermon, he said, "Inasmuch as ye have done it to one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me".

"Whatever you do to the least of these my brethren, you do to me," is what I learned in my religion.
"Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren," Jesus said, "ye have done it unto me".
One of my favorite passages of scripture is: "Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me".
And whenever we are reminded of our connection to Jesus, we ought to be reminded of our connection with other people, for that's what Jesus told us, "Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me"(Matthew 25:40, KJV).
