Type 2: The input trees have the same structure as in a type 1 join); however, in the joined tree x and y are attached to the same parent at one level deeper than their respective depths in the participating trees.
Calibration data is then used for accurately aligning radiation images retrieved by means of the γ-camera with the respective depth images computed with the RGB-D sensor.
In contrast, the succession of CTD profiles shows an overall warming and thickening of the Atlantic Water layer in the cavity, such that temperatures at the respective depth of the MGO-grounding line increased by 0.2 °C between 1998 and 2014, despite its migration to shallower depth (Fig. 6).

Then, the 25 samples from each respective depth range were thoroughly mixed, and one composite soil sample weighing 1 kg was taken.
Since the S-velocity anomalies can be primarily attributed to effects of temperature, the high- and low-velocity anomalies indicate colder and hotter than average temperature at each respective depth.
The comparatively high upper limit represents the conduction in the sedimentary layer above convection cells (Kohl et al. [2000]), whereas the lower limit indicates temperature increase with depth originating from heat conduction from the underlying part of the respective depth, only.
Values of k* and D* are shown in Fig. 9 for the respective depth profiles.
These respective depth values further support the hypothesis that a threshold depth of about 8 μm is a prerequisite for trench formation, as mentioned above.
