Following the submission of this article to Cancer Imaging, unfortunately the European manufacturer of ferumoxtran-10 (Guerbet) has withdrawn the product pending further phase III studies.
The annotation presented here was transferred to the PlasmoDB database before the submission of this article and was used in a recent study by Mishra et al. (2009) [ 33].
Further, it is demonstrated that this deletion is detectable using the MLPA assay for the APC locus current at the submission of this article, and would be ambiguous if this, or any single patient were analyzed solely via whole exome sequencing.
