The fishbowl session will comprise presentation from the research team followed by discussion, facilitated by someone outside the core research team.
Every group session will comprise at least one exercise from psychomotor therapy.
Each session will comprise an individual meeting with a researcher trained in motivational interview techniques.
A MVI-Exercise session will comprise 30 to 45 minutes of cardiovascular exercise and 15 to 20 minutes of muscular strength.
Each session will comprise a 10 minute warm-up period (involving light aerobic exercise and gentle range of motion exercises), 30 min of aerobic exercise at an intensity of 70% 85% heart rate reserve, and a 10 min cool-down period involving lower intensity aerobic exercise and some light stretching.
The exercise sessions will comprise several types of activities, from group classes focusing on aerobic exercises, sports, walking or running periods, dance, to strength sessions.
The education sessions will comprise small groups of eight people with RA led by a rheumatology specialist nurse, and will focus on issues such as the operation of the DA system, what patients can expect from the system, when and how to call the advice line, when and how to ask for appointments, and any other queries regarding the system [ 2].
The session will be in English only.
Moderators of the session will be Andrzej Wiecek and Markus Ketteler.
These sessions will comprise exercises, games, and psychomotor practices prepared during the individual sessions.
