However, when the CB1 agonist ACPA was applied to the same preparations that had been pretreated with U-73122, the EPP amplitude was decreased by an amount (53.8 ± 5.2%) that is indistinguishable from the effects of either ACPA or muscarine in the absence of U-73122 (compare Fig. 7B with Fig. 2).
Although the oxLDL used to prepare oxLDL-IC was the same preparation as that of the free oxLDL, the trafficking of the lipid and protein moieties of oxLDL was different when the lipoprotein presented to cells free or as a part of an immune complex.
Thus, the same preparation ensured that the two-photon imaging should be stable through the artificial dura and that multiple recordings could be made.

Both of these samples were encased in exactly the same type of vials; we suspect that both suppliers were selling the same preparation from a single manufacturer that was made many years ago.
