The small samples these are based on is reflected in the higher uncertainty in the priors (Table 1).
Bayes factor values, calculated with the marginal likelihood estimates of the stepping-stone analyses, support the birth-death process as the best tree prior (Table 1).
Of those with solid tumors, 54 patients (5%) had evidence of having received whole blood or red blood cell transfusion, 144 (13%) had evidence of having received ESA, and 79 (7%) had evidence of having received iron supplementation at the time of clinic visit or within the 28 days prior (Table 6).
Results from the BEAST analyses, specifically the ages of the interspecific splits, were strongly influenced by the choice of tree prior (Table 3).
The estimated time to most recent common ancestor (TMRCA) for each clade is not markedly affected by the tree prior (Tables 3 & 4; Additional file 2: Figure S1), but the between-clade divergence estimates depend on the choice of tree prior with a Yule prior favouring younger estimates (Tables 3 & 4; Additional file 2: Figure S1).
This visual impression was statistically confirmed in a transition analysis that evaluated whether the odds of a positive oral HPV test at a given visit was affected by the HPV viral load at the prior visit (Table 4).
The posterior distribution of unsampled parents deviated from the prior estimates (Table 3).
In most sessions the initial statements about the key criteria reflected the instructions for their use given during the prior study (Table 1).
Defining high exposure in the current analysis at an RDD of 35 was most comparable to the 90th percentile RDD in the prior analysis (Table 2).
The final variables retained in the model that were significant predictive factors for diarrhea were advanced patient age, skin metastases at baseline, therapy being started in the spring, and grade one diarrhea in the prior cycle (Table 2).
Also, patients were more likely to remain adherent if they were older (36 years and above), had comorbid hypersomnia, and had used medications including VLX, ECP, other antide-pressants, anticonvulsants, and antimigraine medications in the prior year (Table 3).
