In the present study, the contents of BOD, COD, TKN, Cl−, SO42−, and PO43− were more in sugar mill effluent than the content of BOD, COD, chlorides, sulfate, and phosphate in sugar mill effluent reported by Ezhilvannan et al. (2011).
