The implementation of this new course module was accompanied by explorative and evaluative research including a formal didactical evaluation and an exploration of the students' experiences with death and dying, their expectations and fears in the run-up to the dissection course and their attitude towards dissection.
After the implementation of the course the students have acquired a wider scope of how energy problems may be approached and solved.

Here we describe the implementation of the course Evidence Based Practice, 7.5 ECTS at the Master of Medical Sciences program at Lund University, Sweden.
In addition to the prior teaching experience of the tutors, they were trained with specific course material with the aim of testing, predicting and clarifying any questions that could arise during the implementation of the course.

In sum, this article describes the opportunities, difficulties, and challenges faced during the curricular implementation of this course.
Accordingly, the design and implementation of this course takes advantage of the potential of blended environments to support meaningful learning, the scientific expertise of the author of this work, and the tremendous opportunities presented by recent intensified research activities in Panama in the field of paleontology.
