For example, in Figure 11(a), when fixing the size of the future testing window as 0.12, when the KL-divergence value increases from 0.02 to 0.038, the size of the prediction window shrinks from 0.12 to 0.08, while the prediction window expands from 0.08 to 0.16 when the KL-divergence value decreases from 0.038 to 0.022.
These overall findings, which verify neurological modes of action for a subset of low-molecular-weight toxins: (i) reveal key active chemistries, (ii) will enable the future testing of more refined experimental hypotheses, and (iii) will facilitate the design and testing of other novel insecticidal materials.
In Figure 10(a), we observed that when fixing the future testing window to 0.12, the prediction window size is adjusted adaptively based on the KL-divergence values; when the KL-divergence value decreases from 0.043 to 0.02, the size of the prediction window expands from 0.12 to 0.2, while the prediction window shrinks from 0.2 to 0.08 when the KL-divergence value increases from 0.02 to 0.039.
While potential strategies to control differentiation fate of CPCs towards blood vessels or cardiac muscle upon implantation remain to be explored, this study establishes the foundation and the rationale for the future testing of human embryonic or induced pluripotent stem cell-derived CPCs for repair of cardiac infarction.
