The lower member of the Culebra Formation represents the beginning of a transgressive sequence, with paleosols developed in volcanic sediments of the Las Cascadas Formation below the base of the Culebra Formation, and shallow-marine facies in the Culebra Formation (Figure 9).
Our results support the idea that a significant free energy barrier of entropic origin appears due to the RAP formation, below the melting temperature (Tm) and above the Tg.
