Where the habitable zone lies depends on the star itself: red dwarfs are dimmer and therefore cooler than the Sun, so their habitable zones are shifted closer in than the equivalent zone in our Solar System.
The comparison between modelled (Fig. 9 (c)) and observed (Fig. 9 (d)) hourly NO X and O3 concentrations shows the model predicts a large number of O3 concentrations in the 0 150 ppb NO X range and 10 30 ppb O3 range, with the equivalent zone of observed concentrations having smaller numbers of hourly values.

For the analyses of probe trials, we used 1) the path length in the whole swimming pool, assessing swim speed (probe trials have a fixed duration), 2) the relative path length in the target quadrant/path length in the whole pool (TargetQ/TotQs), and 3) the relative path length in the target platform zone/path length in the four equivalent zones (TargetPF/TotPs).
