TOOKER ALLEY With this bar, Del Pedro, formerly of Pegu Club, pays homage to the Dil Pickle Club, a largely forgotten bohemian haunt of the early 20th century on Tooker Alley in Chicago.
The latest even has a retro-sounding name, Tooker Alley, which, it turns out, is named after the Chicago street that led to the Dil Pickle Club, a famed freethinker's hangout.
