A general agreement existed among the previous research studies that a substantial gain in shear strength of SFRC beams is experienced due to the increase in compressive strength, tensile reinforcement ratio, and fiber volume, and due to the decrease in the span-depth ratio of beam.
The increase in life span caused by mifepristone was proportional to the decrease in life span caused by mating, and ranged from no effect to +64%.
This analysis revealed that the decrease in mean life span was due to increased age-independent mortality.
However, treatment with SOD abolished the decreases in the rate constant and the span of the Cdc25-mediated C118S Ras GDP dissociation by O2– (Table 1).
The peak and plateau pressure airway pressures significantly decreased in the span of 24 hours (Table 2).
The probability of population extinction is much higher if sterile diploid males are viable and capable of mating, because, in this case, the decrease in net reproductive rate spans over two generations [ 32, 74].
While the initial experiment indicated a decrease in the life span of germ line-ablated females relative to controls, this result was not reproduced in the larger cohorts, where there was no significant difference in any of the mortality rate parameters between germ line-ablated females and controls.

However, for the M/M genotype flies, a wild-type copy of the entire p53 gene is not present, and these genotypes produced the greatest increase in life span in females and the greatest decrease in life span in males.
In studies performed on lead-exposed mammal erythrocytes it was found that apoptosis presumably contributes to a decrease in the life-span of erythrocytes and the development of anaemia in cases of lead poisoning7,9,10.
The shear strength also increased with an increase in the fiber contents and a decrease in the shear span-to-depth ratio.
