Martin talks proudly but not boastfully about how a crater on the moon is named after a piece of music he recorded, Icarus, by the Winter Consort, which the astronauts listened to as they mapped the lunar surface.
Getting off to an early -- and early music -- start is the Fanfare Consort, which uses such period instruments as the clarino (a valveless trumpet), baroque oboe and harpsichord in pursuit of what the artistic director, Thomas Freas, calls "modern-day premieres of baroque music that has not been heard since the time of the composers".
He also formed the Leonhardt Consort, which, for 20 years, made historical instruments the norm for this period of the repertoire to such an extent that he later declared: "If you hear a modern violin, you are almost startled".

For example, in Soay sheep (Ovis aries) larger horns enhance the probability of being observed in consort, which in turn is related to mating success [ 4].
This is potentially an important variable because the time span for our study covers two decades and it is possible that more recent trials were more likely to conform to the conduct outlined in reporting standards such as CONSORT, which were first published in 1996 and revised in 2001 [22].
But now that Kate has proved to be an exemplary royal consort, which she has, everyone has stopped asking the question that first bothered me at the Berkeley Ball.
