With a flow accumulation grid as the accumulated weight of all cells flowing into each downslope cell, valleys can be defined through the use of the flow accumulation value (Olivera et al. 2002b) (Fig. 2e).
In the case of RILs, the final viral accumulation value is the average of normalized measurements from all PPV-inoculated replicates of each RIL.
A significant effect of virus genotype on the observed viral accumulation was found (χ2 = 134.648, 7 d.f., P < 0.001), and a Holm Bonferroni post hoc test identified four different homogenous groups (fig. 4 C), with a being the group with the lowest viral accumulation value and d the highest.
The median transcript accumulation value of the genes expressed specifically in one line was 131.3 FPKM, and was higher than that of genes expressed in multiple lines.
Next, we fed the cumulative flow accumulation values to the LOICZ model as the values of runoff from the event (Fig. 3).

The three most intense ions were sequentially isolated for accurate mass measurements by FT ICR selected ion monitoring [ 5] scan with 10 Da mass range, R = 50,000 and target accumulation value of 5 × 104 ions.
