"By having high expectations that marriage should last, we may work harder," she said.
It's a reminder that no matter how hard we may work in this country it is not enough to be considered American.
"Many of the drugs that we develop may work on - say - 10% of patients with lung cancer and 20% of patients with breast cancer that have the same [genetic mutation].
Similarly, we postulated that cisd2 may work in concert with previously identified genes that genetically interact with Ppt1 and cln3 (Buff et al., 2007; Tuxworth et al., 2009).
"We knew at some point in the show that someone is going to get sad, or there's going to be a mysterious situation, so we'll figure out a way that we're going to come up with some sort of motif that may work," says Dixon. "We did a lot of that work up front and some of it ended up being able to drop into place".
"Our conversations about future shows are ongoing as we explore other opportunities that may work for both of us".
For some, that strategy may work.
