Defra took a measured approach by extending culling to one additional area this year (Dorset) in order to test lessons learned in a new area and to expand the evidence base that will be used to inform analysis of badger cull cost assumptions and value for money.
To do this, we initiated a partnership with a local teacher and evolved a collaborative process that took us from initial concepts through iterative piloting and redevelopment to dissemination of fully tested lesson materials (Table 2).

Test was active for a limited time of three days from activation, and students were required to take the test outside lesson times.
With the dominoes, it's a good idea to put a random number in one corner of each one, and make a note somewhere that the correct order is 12, 30, 5, 16, 22... etc. Invariably, games require more preparation than a regular test or lesson would do, but it is likely to stick in their heads more, so it pays off.
