(7) Steam was supplied by a steam generator connected to the chamber by plastic tubes, and testing continued for 10 h following a typical 3 6 3 h steam curing regime (Fig. 4a).
The Mayor of Derby stepped in and asked that the people endure the noise for the sake of British prestige; subsequently testing continued for seven months.
