In general, these DBDs are localized to the N-terminus of MYBs, while their C-termini function as trans-acting domains (TAD) and vary considerably, which leads to the wide range of regulatory roles for the MYB gene family [ 9].
Among them, 18 amino acids in the N-terminus function as a signal peptide that aides in the secretion of faeB.
