Out of sight of most visitors to the capital, the industrial eastern Thames has 70 terminals ranging from specialist ones for oil, sugar and cars to the multi-purpose Tilbury port, and now London Gateway, DP World's new and underutilised facility, has been added, which can bring in the world's largest container ships.
The most important aspects of this architecture are the combined use of smart cards and mobile code technologies to solve the mobility and personalization issues, and the ability to support different types of terminals, ranging from powerful PC terminals to mobile personal digital assistants.

At a time when innovation in medical research is offering new hope to patients suffering from terminal conditions ranging from cancer to infectious diseases, there is an urgent need for fair, consistent processes to support compassionate use and guide the allocation of experimental therapies.
The scores for relevance of the proposed terminal objectives ranged from 1.1 – 3.6.
