The GO terms for functions of the liver were significantly associated, including 'enzyme regulator activity'glycolytictic process', 'positive regulation of heparan sulfate proteoglycan biosynthetic process', 'carbohydrate metabolic process' and other metabolic activity-related terms.
Table 1 shows the number of proteins that have been annotated with each of the main terms for function, and for the type of modification that is targeted (counted across all functions).
