Operando synchrotron radiation photoelectron spectroscopy in the tender X-ray energy range has been used to obtain information on the energy-band relations of semiconductor and metal-covered semiconductor surfaces while in direct contact with aqueous electrolytes under potentiostatic control.
This beamline hosts two independent end-stations, one in the tender X-ray domain (2 9 keV) (Figure 9), and the second one in the mid-infrared domain (4000 700 cm−1).
