The cryo-electron microscopy structure of the nicotinic acetylcholine receptor (nAChR) from Torpedo marmorata and the X-ray crystal structure of the acetylcholine binding protein (AChBP) from Lymnaea stagnalis were used as starting templates for comparative modelling.
