To verify the fidelity of the WGA, we first sought to determine the correlation of data resulting from amplified and unamplified template DNA, by analyzing matched fresh-frozen and FFPE tumor samples from a same patient.
Interestingly the same aspect could be looked at for understanding the evolution of eukaryotes by analyzing regions which deviate from the template DNA signature [18].
