Even for chefs who have the right temperament to wait tables, a feverishly hospitable spirit and a kind of manic energy are necessary to play every role in the restaurant.
There was a weak correlation between physical and emotional neglect and anxious temperament in CT+ cases (Table 4).
Encouraged by the findings of the haplotype analyses, we tested for associations of haplotypes rs5993883 rs2239393 in COMT and rs4648318 rs4274224 in DRD2, as well as the single variant rs737866 in COMT with other traits related to depression, including the HSCL depression and anxiety subscales, depression diagnosis and TCI temperament trait harm avoidance (table 5).
This analysis revealed overlapping regions in bilateral amygdala, bilateral Bed Nucleus of Stria Terminalis (BNST), bilateral hippocampus, and periaqueductal gray (PAG) to be significantly related to anxious temperament (Fig. 4, purple; Table S1).
Specifically, increases in cortisol concentration predicted higher Nervous (estimate ± SE = 0.36±0.11, t = 3.27, P = 0.002, N = 47) and lower Confident (estimate ± SE = −0.44±0.17, t = −2.42, P = 0.02, N = 47) temperament at BBA for sons (Table 3).
There was a weak inverse relationship between resilience scores and anxious temperament scores in CT+ bipolar patients (Table 2).
Furthermore, no significant correlation was observed between the conditions "win", "lose" or "high personal relevance" and other temperament dimensions different from novelty seeking (Table S5).
We applied different psychological tests for the behavioural characterizations of our subjects, including Beck Depression Inventory (BDI; [34]) and Cloninger's Temperament and Character Inventory (TCI; [30]) (Table S1).
