"The greatest athlete in the world, the most genetically gifted, can come into your program as an eight-year-old," says John Walker, the U.S. national swim team's assistant technical-support director.
Mrs. Farlie, 28, graduated from Montclair State University, where she is the director of technical support services.
Mr. McEwen recruited his director of technical support, Gary Peake, directly from the ranks of the most serious users.
"The approval process is not what's taking time," said Mark Skiles, director of technical support for the agency.
Now, the company provides technical support for teachers and managing director, Jon Silvera, offers work experience placements to year 12 students.
Of the 600 posts for doctors in government hospitals, nearly 100 are vacant, as are 600 of the 5,000 positions for general nurses, said Davies G. Dhlakama, the Health Ministry's director of technical support.
"A lot of people close the lid on their laptop and throw it in their case without making sure the hard drive has shut down completely," said Chris Kramer, director of technical support for Micro Center, a chain of 23 computer and electronics stores that has its headquarters in Hilliard, Ohio, a suburb of Columbus.
But clearly not everyone agreed with that negative assessment - he was noticed by Prince's staff and soon began working at the artist's Paisley Park studio complex, offering technical support to the then-art director.
"Wolf Warrior 2," a Chinese film that employed technical support and guidance by Hollywood directors and producers Joe and Anthony Russo, was one of the all-time top grossing films in a single market.
"Five years ago, more calls than not were about problems, about things not working," said Matt Fingerhut, director of consumer technical support at Microsoft.
