Female adolescents are barely represented in the industrial and technical occupations, where lower secondary school leavers have an opportunity because female adolescents rarely have occupational interests in this area.
Tertiary education includes not only college education but also other programs that focus on practical, technical or occupational skills for direct entry into the labor market.
