FP (n=155) spent a mean of 143.6 min/day (95% CI 135.2 to 152.0) performing tasks such as prescription refills, teaching, meetings, management and communication with other professionals (33.4% of their workload).
To accelerate the implementation of the protocol, pocket maps with the description of the intervention will be distributed, teaching meetings with the health care providers about the protocol will be organized and the protocol will be added to the medical file of the patient.
Teaching meeting facilitation is a necessary part of IPE for NP students to be able to use these skills in the future.
