A simple tap to reply or glance on the wrist or dictation is a massively different interaction model than pulling out an iPhone, unlocking it and being pulled into its merciless vortex of attention suck.
Tap the "Reply" button underneath the tweet.
Tap the Reply with Message button.
If you tap on "Reply," you will be provided with a blank space to type in your message.
Double-tap to reply lets you simply double-tap on a message in your inbox to head back to the camera — once you take your selfie, the picture will automatically be sent to the original sender (right after Snapchat gives you a little pop-up so you're absolutely, positively sure that you are of sound mind and body).
Indeed, it's like a daily barrage of some technological assembly line, as we mindlessly pick up our devices - driven more by instinct than need - thumb through the screens and tap out replies, comments or digital grunts in response to the digital visual stimuli put before us.
The update also brings with it a few new features, like the ability to double-tap to reply, in-app profiles, and better tools for adding friends.
Tapping the reply button will open the text box where you can type the reply.

You can tap on this "Replying To" field to see who's in the conversation and make changes to the reply list, if you choose.
