The new agreement runs from September 1 , 1999until August 31 , 2001 with the new terms taking effect from the date of ratification.
A law that takes effect this month in New York State, the Internet Dating Safety Act, requires sites to post common-sense safety tips, like "meet in a public place".
The injunction will prevent the law from taking effect on its scheduled date of Aug. 16 and will remain in place until the judge hears final arguments and rules on its constitutionality.
