Conductive polymer nanocomposites (CPC) have already proved their interest to fabricate sensors for the design of electronic noses (e-noses) but, for the first time to our knowledge, the present study is showing that electrostatic layer by layer assembly (eLbL) is bringing an interesting input to tailor the sensitivity of carbon nanotubes (CNT)–polyelectrolyte sensors.

Indeed, a further implication of this study is that regulating the relative abundance/activities of thioredoxin reductase and thioredoxin peroxidase enzymes within a particular cell/cell compartment could be an effective means to tailor the H2O2 sensitivity of specific cells/pathways.
Two patients with MSSA infection (Table 1 – patients n. 2 and n. 10) of their spacer were successfully treated by aggressive debridement of the prosthetic joint within 30 days of prosthesis implantation and systemic antibiotic therapy tailored to the sensitivity of the cultures for 3 months.
Postoperatively, patients continue antibiotic therapy tailored to the sensitivities of intraoperative cultures for at least 6 weeks until inflammatory markers (CRP, ESR) and nutritional markers such as plasma albumin concentration return to stable limits (levels normalized in 90% of cases).
Postoperatively, all patients received antibiotics intravenously tailored to the sensitivities of intraoperative cultures for at least 3 7 days, followed by oral administration until inflammatory markers (CRP, ESR) return to stable limits.
All patients had IV antibiotics for the first 5 days and then either IV or oral antibiotic therapy was continued and tailored to the sensitivities of intraoperative cultures and continued for 6 weeks (seven patients had 2 weeks of IV and then oral antibiotics, five had 6 weeks of IV antibiotics).
However, some difficulties on tailoring the strain sensitivity and mechanical properties of the strain-sensor-based thin films such as the influence of processing parameters and orientation of the CNTs within the polymer matrix were broadly reported [10, 14].
To allow the controller model to learn from data, a moving horizon estimation (MHE) technique tailored the tissue sensitivity to insulin to individual responses.
