For association studies and genomic prediction, we used the genetic evaluations of Belgian-Blue sires for five muscularity traits (back muscularity (BM), shoulder muscularity (SM), rump muscularity - rear view (RMR), rump muscularity - side view (RMS) and a synthetic note of muscularity (GM) obtained by a linear combination of the previous traits (GM = 1 × SM + 1 × BM + 2 × RMR + 2 × RMS)).
