In this system, the master pacemaker in the suprachiasmatic nucleus (SCN) of the anterior hypothalamus is entrained to the daily light/dark (LD) cycle and subsequently transmits synchronizing signals to local clocks in peripheral tissues [7].
The explanation that embryonic tissues do not express rhythms because individual cells within the tissue are rhythmic but unsynchronized requires that individual cells do not receive or are insensitive to synchronizing signals.
Liver is one clear example of a peripheral oscillator in which other synchronizing signals besides the light/dark cycle, such as food availability or daytime restricted feeding (DRF), are able to adjust daily rhythms.
By considering linear or nonlinear observers and designing suitable synchronizing signals, a mass of synchronization schemes are developed, such as complete synchronization [11, 14 18], anti-synchronization [19 24], phase synchronization [16, 25 27], lag synchronization [17, 28 36], projective synchronization [17, 37 45], combination synchronization [46, 47].
Daily temperature gradients will, therefore, represent reliable and consistent synchronizing signals for daily molecular and behavioral rhythms only if they can be selectively recognized in the presence of other temperature signals.
Composite video is also referred to as CVBS (color, video, blanking, and sync) or the composite video baseband signal, which combines the brightness information (luma), the color information (chroma), and the synchronizing signals on just one line (see Figure 2) [24].

In addition to immunosuppression [ 11] and hormone deprival [ 14], it has been suggested that wound healing following the primary surgery might be one such synchronizing signal, by turning on the angiogenic switch in dormant micrometastases and thereby activating angiogenesis [ 16– 16].
Tissue regeneration and development involves highly synchronized signals both between cells and with the extracellular environment.
More specifically, the experiment has been conducted using two front-ends collecting synchronized signals.
