For participants with diabetic retinopathy at baseline, PDR developed in 39.7% of patients in 1975 1985, whereas no studies reported progression to PDR during 1986–2008; 17.5% progressed to SVL during 1975 1985 (two studies), whereas 5.4% progressed to SVL in 1986–2008 (one study).
The time interval between the first and second clutches was longer in GH females that produced larger eggs but did not differ from HD females of the same SVL in clutch size, suggesting that female E. argus took a longer time to produce larger eggs.
Data of these two groups showed that HD females laid smaller eggs than did GH females (one-way ANOVA; 1st clutch-F1, 83 = 32.39, 2nd clutch-F1, 83 = 63.63, both p<0.0001), but they did not differ from GH females of the same SVL in clutch size (one-way ANCOVA with SVL as the covariate; 1st clutch-F1, 82 = 0.02, 2nd clutch-F1, 82 = 0.25, both p>0.620), in each of the two successive clutches.
The AOL was significantly faster than the SVL in all measured procedural elements of intubation in small children.
This systematic review and meta-analysis provides estimates of the incidence of PDR and development of SVL in patients who were untreated for diabetic retinopathy at baseline.
First, based on baseline diabetic retinopathy severity, researchers should consider contemporary rates of progression to PDR and/or SVL in estimating sample sizes for clinical trials.

Salamanders caught on the cavity walls were measured from the snout to the posterior end of the cloaca to the nearest mm (snout-vent length, SVL) and kept in ventilated plastic boxes inside the cavity.
The dispersion diagrams and the regression lines between snout-vent length (SVL) development in relation to the distance from the nostril to the most anterior extremity of the rostra (DNR) are presented in Figure 1.
Our comparative sample of V. salvator was close to the maximal snout-vent lengths (SVL) recorded in a large sample of this taxon;, however, the largest specimen from our sample had a total length approximately 15 20% shorter than the total length of the longest recorded V. salvator (321 cm) [20].
EVS, MCAW, IVDA, and SVL assisted in data interpretation.
