Survived by his wife Dorothy, two sons, Howard Jr. and his wife Susan of St. James and Erik of Centerport.
He is survived by their children, Daniel, of Washington, and Susan, of Maplewood, N.J.; four granddaughters; and his second wife, Lois Lunin.
