We initially validated satellite altimetry data with in situ gauge data on Lake Argyle and Lake Eildon (Australia), and then investigated data of the only presently operational altimeter, Jason-2/Ocean Surface Topography Mission (OSTM), data at six locations on large inland rivers where temporary gauges were installed during 2011 2012 floods.
Two of the prior studies included stack height, meteorological data, and surface topography, enabling exposure modeling using a Gaussian-type dispersion model [ 19, 20]; however, we did not have stack height for the facilities in our study.
As such, these data indicate that surface topography can be used to further influence cell adhesion and downstream differentiation by enhancing the effects of a surface adsorbed FN layer.
At N.T.U., a group of researchers has spent the past year gathering available data on the university's surface topography and subsurface geology.

These data led us to investigate the surface topography of cartilages, where we discovered that surface roughness declines approximately 40% between freshly obtained immature and mature cartilage, and 31% between control and growth factor-treated cartilage.
